10 years in the making, this year’s Sawtell Chilli Festival is set to sizzle. Come celebrate with us on Saturday 5th July 2008 in First Avenue Sawtell NSW 2452.

The Sawtell Chilli Festival has been an annual event in the beautiful coastal village of Sawtell on the Coffs Coast for the last 9 years. Opening the festival will be a fabulous social cocktail party with superb finger food and tantalising chilli tastings on Thursday 3rd July. You will be able to sample some of the finest chilli products available at the festival, enjoy music and meet the Sawtell retailers.

Saturday will be full of festivities in Sawtell First Avenue with well known chilli food stall holders proudly displaying their award winning products and Sawtell restaurateurs creating their famously delicious foods from their menus. Entertainers will get you shaking to the beat of the Samba girls, shimmying your way through the street with the belly dancers and marvelling at the circus arts performers with their skills in  contortion and many more tricks.

This years festival celebrates a decade of chilli fun and excitement with entertainment from live bands, stilt walkers, chilli eating competition, children’s rides and activities and so much more! Starting from  10am-6pm the day is sure to be exciting for all the family. Their will be lots of chances to win great prizes throughout the day.

10 years celebration of Sawtell Chilli fun is going to be a perfect day spent under the magnificent fig trees. Come along and enjoy the fun!
